Show JOHNSON BOY SERVICE TODAY Funeral services for Lawrence Junior Johnson, 3-year-old son of Lawrence and Anna Miller Johnson, John-son, who died Monday afternoon at a local hospital, .of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, acci-dent, at 1:30 p. m., will be held at 2 p. m. today, in the Third ward chapel, with the Fourth ward bishopric in charge. Interment will be in the Evei green cemetery, under un-der the direction of Claudin funeral home. Mrs. Johnson who was severely injured inthe accident, sustaining several fractured ribs and internal injuries, is. still in a serious condition condi-tion at her home. The accident occurred when Mrs. Johnson, driving a small truck, momentarily lost control of the car in attempting to replace a kitten in a box at the side of the boy. The car swerved off the road over an embankment and made two complete turns. Mrs. Johnson was pinned under the body of the machine, ma-chine, and the child thrown several feet to the ground. Both were rushed to a local hospital where the boy died two hours later of a basal skull fracture. The accident acci-dent occurred on Highway 91 a quarter of mile south of the Springville-Mapleton Sugar factory. fac-tory. Junior was born here March 11, 1932, and is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. |
