Show F. C. Packard Installed as Commander of Local American Legion Post F. C. Packard was installed ;us commander of the local legion post, at formal installation ceremonies cere-monies at Memorial hall, Friday night. George Nelson was installed first vice commander; LaVar Anderson, An-derson, second vice commander; John Miller, historian; A. E. Wig-nail, Wig-nail, sergeant-at-arms; Harold Christcnsen, adjutant; Harlan Boyer, chaplain. William G. Phillips, retiring commander, who was recently elected vice commander of the district, dis-trict, officiated at the installation ceremony. Clyde Tervort of Pay-son, Pay-son, district commander, was the principal speaker of the evening. He stressed particularly, the organization or-ganization of a rifle club among local leggionnaires, telling the benefits of such an organization. The regular meeting will be hold the first and third Wednesday's in each month, it was announced. All legionnaires and eligible members are invited to attend. INFANT TWINS INTERED HERE Interment was held in the City cemetery, Saturday afternoon, for the infant twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Donloe Kenendy, who died Friday, following birth at the Holy Cross hospital, Salt Lake City. They are survived by the parents and the grandparents, Mr and Mrs. G. D. Kennedy of Springville Spring-ville and Judge and Mrs. George H. Christensen of Price. |
