Show Springville Favors W. R. Straw For Judge ii wtll attended Republican I'rinwO' Monday night it was u.,nimouMly decided to back the candidacy of M. K. Straw, native in-ingviile resident, for the office llt jutlj;e of the Fourth Judicial 'District Court. The judicial convention will be lield at Provo on August 21. The rallies of the delegates- selected u attend this convention and the tdte and congressional conventions conven-tions appear elsewhere in this iuier. Reports from all parts of the district indicate that the Spring-Ville Spring-Ville attorney Is receiving widespread wide-spread support, and it is exacted ex-acted that he will be chosen to mil fur one of the two judgeships this fall. Mr. Straw was admitted to the tar in 1816. after receiving his leu education at the University 01 Utah. Prior to this he served is deputy treasurer and also as deputy clerk of Utah county. From 1920 to 1922 he was county attorney of Utah county. Since then, he has devoted himself to the private practice of law and is now numbered among the leading lead-ing attorneys of the state. Mr. Straw's broad experience aS a trial lawyer, his ability and standing in the profession and his unquestioned integrity, admirably quality hint for the bench, according accord-ing to observers. |
