Boyer, Cleon Fox, Margaret Fox, Marie Simkins, Mina Crandall, Ida Hoffman, Evon Harrison. Laura Curler of California. Mrs. Clara Smith of Santa Barbara, Bar-bara, Calif., formerly of this city, is spending this week with relatives rela-tives and friends here. Ted Kindred of this city recently recent-ly returned from Tdaho Falls, Ida., where he visited his brother, Clifford Clif-ford Kindred and family. He afsoi toured the Yellowstone "National park before returning. Mrs. Louise Harmer and Mrs. Thclma Harmer and children of Payson were visitors in Springville Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Alleman and daughter Jane have just returned re-turned from a 6-weeks enjoyable trip in the east. They traveled by way of the southern route to Washington, D. C. where they spent 10 days visiting places of historical interest. From there thew went to Baltimore, Md., then to New York and to Niagara Falls and Canada. They spent some time in the larger cities in the mid west including Chicago, Detroit De-troit and Milwaukee, and took a number of side trips to historical places of L. D. S. as well as in dustrial interest. At Philadelphia, Pa., they called on Mr. and Mrs. Thorn Miner and family former residents of this city. In New York they visited Miss Erin Ward; in Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Strong and at Milwaukee with Mr. and Mrs. Grover Clyde and Evans Houtz and family. Also in Philadelphia they visited relatives rela-tives on both Mr. and Mis. Alle-man's Alle-man's side of the family securing considerable genealogy material. At Baltimore, Md.. they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Alleman, Alle-man, Mr. Alleman, according to a report has just received an excellent ex-cellent position doing research work for the Mead-Johnson Drug company, one of the large eastern drug concerns. Among the out-of-town people who attended the Averett-Farns-woilh reunion here the past week end were Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Averett and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson and families of Salt Lake City. Miss Venice Clyde of Hebcr City has been visiting the past two weeks with Mrs. Mildred Cates in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Warner Alian and Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Johnson plan to leave this week on a vacation trip to Yellowstone National park. Mr. and Mrs. Warner Allan and Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Mrs.' Bill Phillips and family fam-ily and other relatives and friends here. Sergeant and Mrs. Bert F. Rivers Riv-ers of Fitzsimmons General Hospital, Hos-pital, Denver, Colo., returned to their home Wednesday after visiting visit-ing at the home of Mrs. Richard Huntington, a few days. Sergeant and Mrs. Rivers accompanied Misses Marie and Virginia Rivers from Denver. The latter prior to this had spent three weeks with their grandmother, Mrs. Elie Rivers Riv-ers and other relatives at Junction Junc-tion City, Kansas. Members of the Second ward Gleaner class were delightfully entertained Tuesday night at the home of Mrs. Mae Fletcher. Assisting As-sisting hostesses were Mrs. Martha Harrison. K.s. Eileen Bird, Mrs. Rowena Rigtrup. Mrs. Harriet B. Miner, and Mrs. Hazel Harrison. The program of the evening featured feat-ured an especially interesting' paper pa-per on, "Personality and Charm," by Miss Ida Hoffman.
