' Payson Protests Assessment Hike PAYSON Approximately 200 taxpayers of- south Utah county held a meeting in payson Monday night to protest the action of the State Tax Commission in their intention to reassess improvements improve-ments in Utah county. The meeting meet-ing was called by the Farm Bureau Bu-reau local with its president, George Staheli in charge. Present were: Frank G, Shelly of American Ameri-can Fork, chairman of, Utah County Farm Bureau tax committee, com-mittee, David Jones of" Spanish Fork, county Farm Bureau president; presi-dent; Francis Lundell of Benjamin, Benja-min, legislator and other officials. Plans were made for a large delegation to meet the State Tax commission in Provo Wednesday at 10 a.' m. to voice their protests. Jesse Hall was elected chairman of the group and Mayor P. C.
