Show KIWANIS CLUB TO MEET AT SPANISH FORK Local Kiwanis club members will meet with Spanish Fork at an inter-club program tonight. A ldrge representation from the Springville club plans to attend. The Kiwanis club held its weekly week-ly luncheon at the high school art gallery, last Thursday night. J. F. Wingate of the high school art committee, acted as toastmaster. An interesting talk on the life or Jonn Haien, noted ispnngvuie artist, was given by his son Virgil O. Hafen, also a well known artist of this community. Wayne Johnson John-son of the high school art committee, com-mittee, spoke on the various pictures pic-tures exhibited at the gallery. The attendance prize was an oil painting paint-ing by Mr. Johnson, and was won by A. G. Thorn. Music at the club was given by Melvin Peterson, Mrs. Lucille Sto-well, Sto-well, and Virginia Bird. The high school domestic science department depart-ment served the lunch. President Charles Boyer was in charge. |
