Show Utah Stats Fair ToUpen Sepieimlier 16th Advanced two weeks to take advantage of more stable climatic cli-matic conditions, the fifty-ninth annual exhibit of the Utah State Fair association will open September Sep-tember 16 and continue eight days, to and including September 23rd. Already indications point to a greatcr-than-ever interest in the Beehive state's big yearly event. Growers of livestock and farm products practically are a unit in approving the earlier dates on the ground that the best of weather conditions arc highly advantageous to the best showing show-ing of their entries, many of which are in prime condition during the early autumn. The SLate Fair association, headed by A. M. Mackenzie, president, and Ernest H. Holmes, fair manager, are now housed in the administration building at the spacious state fair grounds in Salt Lake City. Here entries are being received and various details in connection with the fair handled by an experienced staff. All prospective exhibitors are urged to make their entries at the earliest possihie date in order that no crowding may be experienced in the days just before be-fore the fa ir opening. Of special interest to fair visitors vis-itors is the announcement by the fair management of a host ot entertainment features to be seen at the forthcoming event. Such amusement features will exceed in number and quality those of any previous state fair in the intermountain territory and will include some of the most popular of all circus, vaudeville and carnival car-nival attractions. |
