Cal Clyde 6-U, 6-1; Paui Eggertson def. Cal Clyde 6-3, 6-0; Dan Payne def. 6-3, 6-0; Dan Payne def. Paul Eggertson in their final matcn 6-4, 6-0. Juniors Delmar Hatch def. Floyd Anderson 6-1, 2-6, 6-2; Dan Payne def. Max Morgan 6-0, 6-2. In the final rounds of the boys' competition, Dan Payne appears to be certain of winning that division, with no losses up to date. In the juniors, Delmar Hatch, Max Morgan, Dan Payne and Floyd Anderson arc fighting it out for top spot. SWIMMING Through the joint cooperation of the American Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce and Springville City, over 500 boys and girls were given swimming instructions at Park Ro-She the past month. The attendance and eagerness shown by the children to learn how to swim was proof to t'he i instructors that Springville should do something to provide swim- j ming facilities for its boys and girls. |
