Show LEGION FETES BOY SCOUTS Approximately . 125 registered register-ed scouts and scouters of Ko-lob Ko-lob district were guests of the American Legion post at an annual an-nual program and social at Memorial Mem-orial hall. Wednesday night. Commander Com-mander LaVar Anderson was in charge. T. C. Larson of the National Parks council, Provo, gave the principal address of the evening, emphasizing the value of scout work. Other talks were given by S. L. Mendenhall, Charles Boyer and John Boyer, scout executives from this district. An especially interesting feature of the evening was the moving picture slides on wild life in the Green river valley, shown by Lee Kay of the state fish and game department. He also spoke and exhibited pictures of reptile life. An excellent program of music and stunts was furnished by the scouts from the Second and Fourth ward troops. The entertainment was concluded with a lunch. |
