Show ANNUAL BLACK HAWK REUNION PLANS MADE Plans for the annual Black Hawk reunion, to Which everyone every-one is invited, were outlined at a meeting and social of the local committee, last Saturday night, at the art building. Captain M.F. Miner was in charge. The reunion will be held February Feb-ruary 3, at Memorial hall. All veterans and their wives or the widows of veterans are invited as special guests. It is planned to have the customary lunch beginning be-ginning promptly at 6 o'clock. Following the lunch, at 7 p. m., the program will be given. Some of the very best talent available in Springville, Mapleton and sur-: sur-: rounding towns are scheduled to appear. At 8:30 p. m., all will join in dancing, with a good time assured as-sured everyone. Many people from out of town are expected to attend at-tend in addition to the usual large crowd from Springville. At the meeting Saturday night, several new members were added to the committee. Mrs. A. Y. Wheeler was appointed lady cap- j tain, succeeding Mrs. Frank San-1 ford, who resigned. Mrs. Vance Gividen of MapFeton, was appointed appoint-ed to fill a vacancy caused by : the resignation of Harvey Men-, den'hall. I. E. Clegg was appointed appoint-ed to succeed the late Solomon Clyde as publicity and invitation chairman; Mrs. Theodore Diamond Dia-mond to succeed her husband and Mr. and Mrs. John Childs were named new members on. the general gen-eral committee. A specially enjoyable feature of the Saturday night meeting was a sumptuous supper served at one long table to the group consisting consist-ing of nearly a hundred commit-tee commit-tee members and their partners. j A delightful program," with ai number of impromptu selections was also enjoyed.
