Show "Old Man Sunshine" Glendora Players Next Production The Glendora Players scored a big hit Friday night at the Star theater with "Honeymoon Ranch"'. They certainly more than lived up to advance publicity. The play was the funniest we have seen in a long while, and the audience fairly rocked the theater with laughter. The singing perhaps was the main feature of the :ihow. James Allen and Jessie Davis sang a duet, Paul Taylor sang a beautiful song "Cross Roads" with the Glcndoi;u Girls. Frank Anderson and the girls did a jazzy number, and Glen Taylor got a big laugh with Ins parodies, the quartet sang till they A'ere hoarse in response to repeated encores. Miss Virginia Bolen u.a a very pretty solo dance. The company will be in Springville Spring-ville every Friday. Their show for next week will be entitled "oiu Man Sunshine,'" with more laughs, aongs and dances than ever, and a beautiful new setting. |
