Show BURGLARS ARE ACTIVE INPROVO Three Provo business houses were burglarized sometime Tuesday night, and judging from the investigation investi-gation conducted by the Provo police po-lice department Wednesday morning morn-ing all three crimes were committed commit-ted by thc same individuals. The Texaco service station, located locat-ed on First North and Fifth West was broken into and about a dozen small flashlights taken. The Second Sec-ond ward grocery, located on West Third South, was robbed of a number num-ber of pennies and slots for a slot machine, two boxes of candy, four boxes of chewing gum, three boxes of men's socks and three cartons of cigarcts. Thc Moore grocery store located on East Third South, was also burglarized and a quantity of pennies, slots and cigarcts were taken. In all three Instances the thieves entered the buildings hy breaking the glass in the windows, and Inav-I Inav-I ing by way of the front door. Gloves were worn by I he. burglars j so that it was impossible to get any finger prints. |
