Show Midsummer Dance : Revue Is Theme of Favorable Comment A highly entertaining and cleverly clever-ly arranged midsummer dance revue re-vue was presented by the dance students of Tess Packard, Saturday evening, in the Springville high school auditorium. Miss Gloria Friel was accompanist. In the first revue, representing a day in an English garden, eight characteristic dances were presented. present-ed. The "Silhouette," given by Evelyn Olsen, Beth Robertson and Maxine Child was a fine introduction introduc-tion to the artistic arrangement of the program which followed. Dances enacted by children from five and six years of age exhibited ex-hibited splendid training in a short length of time. A keen sense of rhythm was noticeable in every student who took part during the evening. "A Top a New York Roof Garden" Gar-den" was enacted in the second scene with individual and group dances. Pretty and unique dances featured fea-tured the third scene in which the various nations were represented. The outstanding number in this or either of the first two scenes would be difficult to judge. All called forth considerable comment from the large crowd in attendance. Elaborate costumes employed throughout the entertainment bespoke be-spoke considerable time and added much to the attractiveness of the dances. Various colored lights and appropriate scenes were employed to good advantage during the evening eve-ning program.
