Show MISSIONARY TO BE HONORED AT TESTIMONIALS A farewell testimonial for Elden Ashcraft, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Ashcraft of Springville, who leaves September 8 to fill a mission mis-sion in the, north central states, will be held Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock in the Second ward amusement amuse-ment hall. ' The program includes: duet, Ralph Weight and William Parry; reading, Norma Harrison; piano solo, Keith Harrison; chorus numbers num-bers under the direction of Ray Alleman ; reading, Coba Coffel; dance, Beth Anderson. A dance will conclude the entertainment. The missionary committee of the ward is sponsoring tho program with Chairman Selvoy Eoyer in charge. ' Having been affiliated with the Springville band for a number of year; during which time Mr. Ashcraft Ash-craft won the esteem of the entire membership of that organization, he will tie the honored guest at a farewell testimonial in the form of a concert to be given under the auspices of the band in the Springville Spring-ville Second ward amusement hall, Monday evening, September 7, at 8 o'clock. The program -will consist of the following numbers: selection, band; vocal solo, Elmo Coffman; instrumental instru-mental solo, Clair Johnson ; selection, selec-tion, band; vocal solo, Hannah C. Packard ; violin solo, Eugene Ja-cobson; Ja-cobson; selection, band ! reading, Phyllis Miller; selection, band; accordion ac-cordion solo, Millie Schofield; selection, selec-tion, band. During the concert Mr. Ashcraft will express a sentiment. A nominal fee of 25c and 3fc will be charged, which will go toward assisting Mr. Ashcraft in his missionary mis-sionary work. |
