Show Newspaper Man Called By Death SALT LAKE CITY, May 8 (U.R) Burl Armstrong, 52, political editor edi-tor of the Salt Lake Telegram and i widely known western newspaperman, newspaper-man, died here Sunday . of heart trouble. Armstrong" was stricken April 24, while driving his automobile, and his condition immediately became critical. A veteran of the Spanish War, Armstrong : was with Admiral Dewey at Manila in 1898, and later, with the naval fleet, made a trip around the world. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30. p. m., under the auspices of Acacia lodge No. 17, F. & A. M. He ;is survived by his widow, Jessie Armstrong, a son and daughter daugh-ter by a former marriage, Dale Armstrong and Mae Louise Armstrong, Arm-strong, both of San Francisco; two brothers and four sisters. |
