Show E. G. LUNNEN LAID AT REST HERE TUESDAY Funeral services for Edmund George Lunnen, who died Sunday at the family residence on South Main street, were held Tuesday afternoon aft-ernoon in the Second -ward chapel with Bishop E. A. Strong, presiding. John Wardsworth, George Sim-kins Sim-kins and Fred Olson of Salt Lake, each spoke of the fine character and exemplary life of their friend and neighbor, calling attention to his performance of church duties. The Starr sisters and the Fox sisters furnished vocal duets at the services. The invocation was offered by George Wright and the closing prayer by S. E. Dalton. Mr. Lunnen was born in Gas-port, Gas-port, Angel Sea, England, Sept. 18, 1864, a son of Edmund and Marie Bugon Lunnen. He moved to Springville from Salt Lake in 1930. He was a . faithful member of the L. D. S. church and an active temple worker. He was a member of the Kolob stake high priests' quorum. He was married to Welthie Goodloe, Sept. 16, 1903, in the Salt Lake temple. In addition to his widow, he is survived by one son and one daughter, Albert Lunnen of Springville Spring-ville and Mrs. Marie Anderson of SaJt Lake; a brother, A. C. Lunnen, Lun-nen, Crescent, Utah, and two sis-tcis, sis-tcis, Mrs. W. R. Wellington, Sandy, and Mrs. Rose Cunliffe, Salt Lake. |
