STRATFORD The Wasatch Gas company will serve customers in Provo, Spring-viUe Spring-viUe and Spanish Fork at considerably consid-erably lower rates than were , charged by the Utah Valley Gas and Coke company, according to an announcement today by L.. Fitz-; Fitz-; pat rick, vice president and general manager. Following Is the domestic ' rate schedule of the new company: First "00 cubic feet or part thereof $1.00. Next 1,300 cubic feet 104 c per 100 cubic feet. Next 2,000 cubic feet 6 He per i00 cubic feet. Next 2,000 cubic feet 4c per 100 cubic feet jjext 4,000 cubic feet 3c per 100 cubic feet. All over 10.000 cubic feet 2.8c per 100 cubic feet. The management of the Wasatch Gas company in agreeing to buy and distribute gas from the Columbia Co-lumbia St reel company plant is pleased to do so in the realization that they are helping foster an im-portant im-portant local industry and conserve th resources of Utah county, stated Mr. Fitzpatrick. These new low rates, according to Mr. Fitzpatrick, will make it possible for every family to enjoy j the advantages of this modern I fuel service for all needs of the household for heating, cooking, refrigeration, re-frigeration, hot water supply, laundering and incineration.
