Show SET ANOTHER ROMERO TRIAL Interest in the trial calendar of the Fourth district court, which was set Monday, centers around the case of the state of Utah vs. A. Lee Romero, which will be heard before Judge George W. Worthen Friday, May 8. Romero is now serving a term in the state prison for the slaying of his mother-in-law, Mrs Sena Baxter, Bax-ter, at her home in Pleasant Grove on the night of July 5 ,1930. At the same time he is alleged to have slain his mother-in-law, the father-in-law, Walter Baxter, was shot to death. It is for the alleged killing of Mr. Baxter that Romero will be tried on May 8. In addition to the Romero case some 18 or 20' other criminal cases will come before the court during the May term. They are: April 22 State of Utah vs. David Van Ausdal. April 23 State of Utah vs. Merlin Mer-lin R. Johnson. April 27 State of Utah vs. A. E. Montgomery; state vs. Frank War-wood War-wood and Jack Diamond;, state vs. M. E. Curtis. April 28 State vs. Byron Young; state vs. M. C- Robinson. April 29 State vs. Oliver Cedar-strom. Cedar-strom. April 30 State vs. George Frank. May Instate vs. Selden Small. May 8 State vs. A. Lee Romero. Appeal criminal cases: State vs. G. Myer and E. Berg, continued without date. April 29 State vs. V C. Boley; state vs. R. C. Rasmussen. May 6 State vs. Oscar Jensen; state vs. M. B.
