Show TLAYMAKERS' WILL PRESENT POPULAR PLAY t I "Three Men :ind n Girl," one of j tho outstanding comedies of recent years, will ibe presented at the Second ward amusement hall Friday Fri-day night under the aunpices of the j Third ward M. I. A. The play will j be presented by the "Pla makei h," a Utah county dramatic company with Tsjadquarters in Provo. The show ha played al several central and northern (Jtah towns and has been pronounced in every case n highly entertaining production and "the best laugh of the year." Seven college-trained actors make i up the cast for the comedy. They 1 are: J. Max Taylor, loading man, former leading man in B. Y. U. pi eductions; Mildred Davis, leading lady, former ingenue of the Pendleton Pendle-ton s'.ock company near Boston-Farrol Boston-Farrol Col lot t, character acto- present editor of tho Young university uni-versity annual ; Jewel Linebaugh, character actress, ins! rue tor or (irnniaucs in jrieauiini urove nign school: Phyllis Miller, B. Y. U. stag.; star, who plays the part of the dumb and rib-tickling house girl: i Boyd Rasmussen, blonde and sauve actor of southern Utah fame; and Jean Paulson, comedian, stnr of a number of B. Y. U- plays, and widely known radio monologist. The play is replete with clever situations and laugh-lines and hasn't a dull moment from the beginning be-ginning to the final curtain. When a girl a strange and beautiful girl is introduced into the apartment of three carefree and wise-cracking bachelors, the excitement begins, and is only enhanced by the presence pres-ence of a suspicious Irish landlady, the dumb maid, and the scarlet-nosed scarlet-nosed husband of the landlady. When two of the boys declare their serious intentions to the girl and the house girl makes back-handed love to one of them in return, the fun increases and gathers momentum momen-tum with each situation until the end of the play. Several betweon-act features will be introduced by the cast during 1 the evening. |
