Show PLANS READY FOR DISTRICT LEGION MEET Arrangements are practically complete for the annual convention of the American Legion and auxiliary aux-iliary cf the fifth district to be held at Springville Sunday, January Janu-ary 15. Department Commander Charles R. Ma bey, Salt, Lake; Adjutant '.Otto Weisley and -Mrs. R. L. Har-lin, Har-lin, state auxiliary president, will be the principal speakers. Reports on membership and other activities activi-ties will c-o icature tl.e convention. conven-tion. The opening session begins dt 11 a. m- at the Memorial hall, and will be followed by a banquet, served at the Firemen's hall at noon.-' The convention will convene con-vene again at 2 p. m. at which time the general public is invited to attend. Delegates are expected to attend from Utah, Juab and Wasatch counties, Chaiiman H. T. Reynolds, G. L. Barren, V. O. -Hufen and LaCell Sumsion, Mis, Sarah Sterling, Mrs. 'Flora Maibcn, Mrs. Delia Clark, Mrs. Marjorie Frandson and Mrs. Julia Sumsion, constitute the general gen-eral committee in charge of the entertainment. |
