Show THREEBOY SCOUTS GIVEN EAGLEBADGES Frank Bringhurst, Reed Chns-tensen, Chns-tensen, and Lee Miner of the Third and Second ward troops were awarded the Eagle scout badge at a court of honor held Sunday evening in Mapleton. Their mothers were presented ! with miniature eagles during the program. Other awards were made as follows: Star badge, Newel: Weight, Max Slmkins; life badge, Richard Loveridge, E d pi u n d Roundy, Louis Gledhill, Robert Huntington; first class,' Grunt Nielson, Francis Boyer, Ted Kindred, Kin-dred, Kimball ' Sorenson; second class, ! Milan Metcalf, Burton Johnson,1 Ralph Johnson. Merit badges Brent Weight, Hosmer Bjarnson, Newell Weight, Mart Peterson, Veldon Jones, La-Mar La-Mar Mason, Acil Roundy, Ivan Felix, Richard Loveridge, Edmund Ed-mund Roundy; Richard Oakley, of the First ward; Don R. An- : derson, Elmo Poulson,. Don Alle-man, Alle-man, Max Slmkins, of the Second Sec-ond ward; Louis Gledhill, Sam Sorenson, Clarence Savage, Frank Bringhurst, Burton Johnson, Reed Chrlstensen, Morris Bird, Robert Rob-ert Huntington,' Kimball Sorenson, Soren-son, Howard Haymond of the Third ward; Earl Mendenhall, Leonard Stone, Lawrence Bird and LaVon Witney of the Maple-ton Maple-ton ward. The scouts were presented by the scoutmasters of the various wards, Maurice Bird, First; Clifford Clif-ford Crandall, Second; J. Edgar Clayson, Third ; Lewis Cutler, Fourth ; Ronald Whitney, Maple-ton. Maple-ton. President Lowry Nelson of Tlm-panogos Tlm-panogos council was the principal princi-pal speaker of the evening. President Pres-ident J. Emmett Bird explained the eagle pins awarded to the BCouts' , mothers;: Commissioner Paul Thorn gave a short talk on Vanguard work. A well arranged program was furnished by the Mapleton ward. |
