Show COUNTY ROAD 1 FUNDJS LOW Drastic curtailing of expenditures will have to be made by the Utah county commissioners to keep within with-in the budgeted amount for county roads, according to the July report : of the Utah county auditor. Practically every other department depart-ment of thecounty is well within its allotted amount, but only a small i balance remains in the county roads department. According to a report from the j county auditor's office $l"j,000 remains re-mains to maintain the county roads during the ' remaining five months of the year. The report shows that $98,850.33 has already been spent by trie commissioners tor roads. An additional $15,000 has also ; been' spent which is not recorded : on the report as the expenditures I of the road department is for the ! j month past and not for- the current month as in the other departments. This will leave a fraction over $15,-000 $15,-000 yet remaining of the $130,000 budgeted. Three other departments have already al-ready exceeded their budget, but unforeseen expenditures have arisen which will necessitate a correction cor-rection of the budget in these departments. de-partments.
