Show FRIENDS HONOR DAVID WHEELER Despite the discomfort of a fractured frac-tured rib. sustained in a fall at his home ten days ago, David Wheeler, one of the oldest residents of Springvdlle . is looking forward to the observance of his ninety-first birthday anniversary Thursday, September 1. ( Last year more than a hundred relatives and .friends personally congratulated Mr. Wheeler at an elaborate celebration at his home given by relatives, to celebrate his ninetieth anniversut y. The. occasion,. will bring forth best wishes, this year, m practically the entire community in which Mr. . Wiieeler has lived or over. seventy years. Coming from England when he was twenty years old, Mr. Wheeler was among the early Spring ville settlers. He has always been active in civic and church affairs, and makes friends with all whom he associates. as-sociates. He married Martha S. Kearns in 1SG9. She died the following year and their baby daughter died one month after the mother. He later married Emma Brama.ll. They adopted two children, J. William Wheeler, Tacoma, Wash.; and Mrs. Effie Hoy lance, Spring ville. His second wife died in 1898 and seven j years later he married Mrs. Mary Louise I. Holley, who is still living. |
