Show MRS. BOWLDEN PASSES AWAY Mrs. Orphelia Avery Bowlden, 76. Springville, died Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James- B. Ferguson of Provo, after a lingering illness. Three daughters and a son survive: sur-vive: Mrs. Ferguson and Mrs. C. M. Humphrey, Provo; Mrs. Scott All-red All-red and Richard Bowlden, Gannett, Idaho. She is also survived by a brother and a sister, Thomas D. Avery, San Bernardino, Calif., and Mrs. Julia Harmer, Springville. Mrs. Bowlden was born January 3, 1856, in Mills county, Iowa, a daughter of . Thomas and Lydia Harrington , Avery. Her parents were pioneers in Springville, and her husband, James Bowlden, served serv-ed in the.Indian war. Prior to her fatal illness, Mrs. Bowlden served constantly in L. D. S. church activities. ac-tivities. Friends may call at the A. Y. Wheeler mortuary, Springville. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel. Interment will be in the Evergreen cemetery., |
