Show Santaquin Man Faces Two Suits Olaf William Peterson, Santaquin, Santa-quin, is facing a charge of forgery in the city court and a civil suit in the Fourth district court asking a judgment of S193.S13 and restraining re-straining order, as the result of a-land a-land purchase in Santaquin from ; C. H. Day on March 7. In the city court caae it is nl- leged by Day that Peterson forged a $20 receipt to represent $200. Peterson will nppear for trial November No-vember 30, on this charge. In the suit in the Fourth district I court brought by Day, it is charged I that Peterson obtained a warranty deed for the property from Day by j saying on November 9 that he would pay in full $213.93--for the property, for which he had paid only $21. Instead of paying in full, Day alleges, Peterson gave him $20 i In currency and refuses to pay ' more. Further, Day states, Peterson threatens to remove all the buildings build-ings and improvements, therefore the restraining order. Day also, asks that the court cancel the warranty deed on the place and the $193.93 judgment. |
