Show S.F. FIREMEN SPONSOR FETE j SPANISH FORK Under the auspices of the Spanish Fork Fire- men's association, a successful observance ob-servance of Independence day was ! , held here Monday. Band concerts, 1 a patriotic meeting at which Attorney Attor-ney I. E. Brockbank of Provo, delivered de-livered the address, occupied the' morning hours. A miniature parade with 50 floats and more than 250 children participating was the feature fea-ture of tho afternoon. The floats were arranged by the Primary and other organizations of the Palmyra L. D. S. stake. Sports of various kinds were enjoyed during the afternoon aft-ernoon at the race track. Children's races were participated in at the city park. A grand ball completed the festivities.. Hundreds of people from adjacent towns were in attendance at-tendance and the streets were lined with automobiles during the parade. No accidents happened to mar the observance of the day. I |
