Show 'THE SPOILERS' NEXT FEATURE COMING SOON With Sahara sands transmuted to the crisp, tingling, finer and whUer stretches of the Arctic Circle, t'.iere is something of the vivid love-power of "The Sheik" in "The Spoilers." rated by many the peer of R v: Beach stories, and being offeree Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at the Rivoli theater for the fust time as a sound and all-talking feature fea-ture picture. Not that "The Spoilers" in talking talk-ing form is any kind of a crazv quilt; Director Edwin Carewe has accomplished a harmony of most of the big responsive chords which movie fans have come to expert in a variety of entertainment aristocrats aristo-crats yet the whole is as individual indi-vidual as and stands apart with the enthralling silhouette grace of a gigantic pine forest outrunner To those who have seen the play, to those who have seen its double screen presentation is silent form, the talking edition will bring still greater thrills. The stage at best was only a foreshortening of the expansive outdoor setting requis to to the action. The silent screen did not compass the resonant timber that comes with hearing living voices, crunching action, pummelling pummell-ing tattle. The big fight scene is as impressive im-pressive as ever, with Gary Coiper -nd William Boyd, he of stage-land's stage-land's "Quirt" renown, - tearing, lunging and clawing at each other, as the critical shadaws of Farnum, Santschi and Sills stand apace. Other emotion-punishing mooes, too, ahs the narrative and romance, feminine charm, comedy and willful will-ful rowdying. Marion Davies' newest all-talking picture, "The Florodora GiM," a story of the Gay Nineties, will be shown Wednesday and Thursday at. the Rivoli theater. An imposing mast was selected for this picture, including Lawrence Law-rence Gray, who played opposite Miss Davies in "Marianne"; Walter Wal-ter Catlett, the stage comedian, recently re-cently seen in "Rio Rita" and "George White's Scandals"; Lout3 John Bartels. star of "The Show Off"; Sam Hardy, Nance O'Niel,-Ilka O'Niel,-Ilka Chase, Vivian Oakland, Jei Jrouty and Claude Allister and a large group of minor players.
