Show pTRITOTES i It is hard for me to express my feelings with respect to the loss we have sustained in the passing of President Maycock. He was so dependable de-pendable and devoted to every responsibility re-sponsibility placed upon hi:n. He had the happy faculty of making friends with persons in all walks of j life. His pleasing personality and stilling qualities have meant so much to all of us. His was a holp- ; ful, hopeful life, shedding goo, cheer upon all with whom he came in contact. We shall miss him so much that to contemplate the future fu-ture without his wise council brings sorrow bevend expression. M. P.. PACKARD. In the passing of George R. Maycock, May-cock, the state, and the church oi' which he was a member, have sustained sus-tained a great loss. SprinevMlu will miss him most, yet we from the outside out-side of his home town will miss the splendid influence of the man. He has buik'ed for himself a monument monu-ment in the hearts of the people v ho have been impressed by his glial soul, encouraging them to bigger and better things. In hid passing, the church, the state and the city has lost a devoted friend. He met every issue, great or small, squarely and without reservation. He was loyalty personified to Im friends. He was more than a friend to us always ready and willing to administer to our want3. His passing will leave a great void in our lives.
