Show PETERSON IS RE-APPOINTED Preston G. Peterson of Provo member of the state highway commission com-mission for more than 11 years has been reappointed for a term ol six years by Governor Henry H. Blood, a former associate of Mr. Peterson's on the board. Mr. Peterson was first appointed appoint-ed to the commission in 1922 by Governor Charles R. Mabey" He was reappointed twice by Governor Gov-ernor George H. Dern in 1H25 and JW27. During the illness of W. J. Parker of Ogden, present chairman chair-man of the commission, Mr. Pet- erson has assumed the burden of the work. Attorney General Joseph Jos-eph Chez is the third member of the commission. "I take uncommon pleasure in making this appointment," wrote Governor Blood in making the announcement, "because of the long association we had working together on that important branch of the state government. I have observed your loyalty to the state and your high standing with the employes of the department. It has also been gratifying to note your influence with the officials of the bureau of public roads, all of which fits you for continued valuable service to the state."' ... |
