Show ACHIEVEMENT DAY EXERCISES HUGE SUCCESS i The annual Springville 4-H t'lurj achievement, clay exercises were held Sunday night in the Second ward chapel, with approximately ap-proximately 35 cluo members present to receive their awards. Hubert Weight, club member, gave a report oi the Springville stock judging team, which went to Logan in September, when Carl Peterson, a local club member, won state judging honors. Short talks were given during' the program by Mrs. Amy Jones, Utah county home demonstration agent. The latter stated that a total of 750 4-H clubs were now organized in, Utah county. John uox, leauer ot" the Second ward Holstem Calf club, gave a report of the work done by his group,, and 1 C. Packard, representing the Springville Banking company, which furnishes the awards to local club members, also spoke briefly and made the presentations. presenta-tions. Miss Vera Brown, a club member, spoke on the value of club work and its meaning. Mrs. Sarah Brown, leader of the girls sewing club, with her group lurnished vocal selections; Thales Brown and Cart Peterson, an instrumental in-strumental duet, and Richard and Louise Childs, a harmonica duet.
