Show TRAINING CAMP ENROLLMENT IS JTARTED Instructions have lpon received by Colonel T. M. Anderson, commanding com-manding tho 204th (Frontier) division, divi-sion, organized reserves, S.-iH Lake City, Utah, to open the campaign to securo' enrollments for the citizens military training enmp. The area to ho covered by this army headquarters head-quarters consists of five states, Montana, Mon-tana, Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho and T'tah. The main camp will he held at Fort Douglas, ,Ttah, .Tune 12-,Tuly 11, 1925. The quota of the number to be. trained has been tentatively set at 720 candidates until more information in-formation concerniuK the appropriation appropria-tion of funds is received. A secondary secon-dary camp will he iield at Fort D. A. Russell, Wyoming, for students in tho advanced courses of field artillery artil-lery and cavalry. It is expected that 140 candidates will apply for this training. In that better facililies existed at this post, the. war department, de-partment, conl.emplates better and more interesting instruction for this class of students by having this separate camp rather than, comltin-ing comltin-ing it with tho curriculum at Fort Douglas, Utah. It. will bo held at the same time as the. local camp. Colonel Anderson believes ihaf. the quotas will lie rapidly filled.' Last year tho young men of the Inter-nioiinfahi Inter-nioiinfahi territory displayed so much enthusiasm for this period of outdoor lifo and training that caused' this section of (lie country to stand ahead of all others in supporting the C. M. T. C. idea. Tho same en-' thusiasrn is expected this year. Tlie old custom of considering applicants ap-plicants In tho same order as their application blanks are received will prevail. This indicates that any young man who expects to attend this year's camp should submit his formal application without, delay to receive first, consideration. . . ' |
