Show FUNERAL FOR MINE VICTIM IMPRESSIVE i i Impressive funeral services for William Henry Teasdale, who was fatally inured at a Castle Gate mine Tuesday, were held in the Springvillc Third ward chapel Sat-1 urdny afternoon. Joseph Harker of the bishopric presided. The' speakers were John R. Stone of Provo and Joseph Harker. Musi-' cal selections were given by Mr. ' and Mrs. Guy Brown, who sang two duets; also Frank Bjarnson rendered a vocal solo. I The invocation was offered by A. I H. Child, the benediction by Willi Mower. Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery, where the j grave was dedicated by Joseph Harker. Mr. Teasdale was born in Eng-i Eng-i land, August 4, 1SS9, son of the late William and Ann Duthoit Teasdale of Springville. He came to the United States with his parents 22 years ago. At the time cf the accident he was employed as driver at Castle Gate Mine No. I. Death was due I to injuries to the spine which were sustained by a rock fall. He lived i 21 hours after the accident. Mr. Teasdale was well known in Winter Win-ter Quarters and Castle Gate, although al-though he had lived in the latter community but 3 years. He has al-i j ways taken an especially active' I part in church and civil activities! of his ward. Besides his widow, El- , Ien Biggs Teasdale, he is survived I by three daughters and one son;! also his mother. Mrs. Ann D. Tcas- dale, and one brother, Joseph Teas-dale Teas-dale of Springville. 1 |
