Show PAYS0NW1S PAYSON, Jan. 12. Payson won its first game of the division here Friday evening, defeating Spanish Fork in a spirited encounter 25 to 14. Payson maintained a slight edge throughout the first three quarters. In the fourth quarter they improved their lead by a number of poins. At the half the locals were on the long end of a 11 to 9 count. For Payson, the scoring was about evenly divided between the guards and forwards. Rowe was the high point played for Spanish Fork.
