Show DAY NURSERY FOR LEADERSHIP A day nursery for children will be one of the features of Leadership Week at the Brigham Young university, univer-sity, January 21 to 25. Mrs. Amy Lyman Merrill, dean of women and the associated women students, have the arrangements in charge. For the associated women students Miss Alma McElrath is officiating. The women of the school have been organized so that several will be on duty in the nursery each hour of the day. The children w-ill be cared for in the best possible manner. Every facility available is being mobilized to make for the entertainment entertain-ment of the children. A meeting is to be held Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at 3 :30 of nil committeemen commit-teemen on the Leadership Week program. pro-gram. At the library Wednesday evening even-ing Judge J. B. Tucker of Provo addressed about thirty men who own lands near the lake on the subject sub-ject of the Utah lake project. At the close of the meeting about 800 acres were signed upon the petition ankiug the county commissioners for the creation of the proposed drainage drain-age district. |
