The juvenile court would like to got the co-operation of all the citizens, more especially the fathers and mothers, as we are unable to accomplish what should be dune without their assistance. as-sistance. We are very pleased to state that the superintendents and ' principals of all school and city officers of all the towns of Utah county are willing to give us all the support thoy can and feel it Is the right thing to do. We find boys. IS years of age and under, visiting the pool halls in violation of the state law, also large groups of boys and girls up as high ns fifty in , number going from one town to another for dancing and other , amusements, with not a single parent or adult of any kind to chaperone them and the results of these trips have brought sorrow to many a home, even more than the average person can think of. The state law of Utah 1 provides pro-vides that no boy or girl nndei 18 years of age should be on the public streets, without a chaperone chaper-one between the hour of G p. m. and 4 a. m.. including any public place of amusement. This law will be enforced for the welfare of the young people themselves. |
