Show WOMAN AND SON HIT BY TRAIN While driving nn automobile across the Denver and Kin Grande tracks near the Utah Valley Gas and Coke company's plant at 5:40 o'clock Mon-' Mon-' day afternoon, Mrs. Wallace Gnrr and her son Wallace, Jr., of Pleasant View, narrowly escaped death when her car was struck by a northbound Tintic passenger train. Mrs. G hit's injuries consisted of a badly bruised knee and her son had a severe laceration lacer-ation of the hand. They were brought into Provo where their wounds were dressed at a local hospital. The automobile was demolished. According to the report of Engineer Engi-neer J. II. Iieless of Salt Lake, Mrs. Gurr failed to hear the whistle of the train , and attempted to cross the track in front of it. |
