Packard had as their guests Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. D. Russell Packard and daughter daugh-ter Patricia and small sou, Russell A., also Miss Becky Almond, all of Salt Lake City Mrs. IT. McBride of Denver, who has been visiting with her aunt Mrs. Selena Kelsey has returned to her home. Harry : Hanford of Echo visited with his folks the past week. Mrs. Nicholas Bird and daughters Delia' Kay and Shirley Jean have; returned to their home in Salt Lake after spending the last ten days with Mr. and Mrs. K. M. Boyer. John S. Boyer and daughter Mary spent the first part of the week in Richfield. D. A. Ilaymond of Sunnyside has been visiting with his sister, Mrs. D. P. Brinton. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Childs were the dinner- guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Bee of, Provo. Miss Florence Childs is spending the week visjting in Logan. Miss Pivjil Packard and Miss Margaret Watson of Salt Lake were Springville visitors last week. Mrs. Steven Deal is visiting in Salt Lake City this week. Mrs. Frank Memory and three children of Spring Canyon are visiting, visit-ing, with her parents, Mr and Mrs. M. F. Miner. Mrs. Harry Reynolds entertained the Saturday Afternoon card club al a dinner at the Harrison hotel Saturday Sat-urday aflernon. -After the luncheon, the guests retired to the home of the ho.sless where the afternoon was .spent, in playing bridge. All teachers of the district and high school are asked td attend the teachers' institute that is to be held in Salt Lake City on the twenty second, sec-ond, twenty-third and twenty-fourth, meetings will be held in the tabernacle taber-nacle nnd assembly hall, special meetings will be held in the Hotel Utah and other places about the . city. Miss Ada Harrison of Salt Lake City spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs G. W. Harrison Harri-son Miss Margaret Fox spent the week-end with her aunt, Mrs. Joseph S. Jarvis of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. G." L. Dallin spent Saturday in Salt Lake visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest E. Knudson attended a special dinner given at the B. Y. U. last Friday evening. In honor of the official delegates who were at ("he semi-centennial of the university. The 'W. O E and' P. P. K. clubs combined in a social last Monday evening at the home of Miss 'Joe San ford. Many games were played and a luncheon served. The evening even-ing as enjoyed by every one. Miss Helen McKenzie, Miss Pearl Gore and Miss Bessie Sutherland were initiated into the W. O. E. club.
