Show MANY ATTEND ' '.x'vi Mr:!? MRS. G. R.HILL Impressive funeral services for Mrs. Charity Jane Shelton Hill, widow of the late George R. Hill, who died Saturday while visiting her daughter, Mrs. Herbert W. Smith, in Ogden, were held Tuesday Tues-day afternoon in the Springvillc Third ward chapel, with Bishop Ralph Smart in charge. The speakers were President G. R. Maycock, Amos N. Merrill and Joseph Bird of Provo. Each paid glowing tributes to their departed friend, speaking in turn of the exemplary ex-emplary life which she has always lived. Musicl selections were furnished by the Mapleton male quartet, who sang two selections. Miss Helen Palfreyman and Mrs. Inez Parker sang a duet, as did also Mrs. Alene Peterson and Murray Roberts of Provo. The invocation was offered by J. ; H. Manwaring; the benediction by Joseph A. Harker. Patriarch O. B. Huntington dedicated the grave at the Evergreen cemetery. She was born at Mt. Alsv. N. C. January 22, 1858, moving with her family to Logan when a young girl. Eight years after her marriage to George' R. Hill in 1883, they moved to Springville, where they resided until 1921, when they moved to Logan. Lo-gan. Since the death of Mr. Hill in 1927, she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Witney in Springville. Two sons and two daughters survive, sur-vive, as follows John S. Hill and Mrs. Mary Witney, Springville; Mrs. Herbert W. Smith, Ogden, and William R. Hill, Price. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. C. T. Barrett Bar-rett of Logan ,and three brothers, A. O.
