Show Ladies Literary Club group entertained Ladies Literary club members mem-bers were guests of Mrs. Ber-ton Ber-ton Groesbeck Thursday evening eve-ning of last week. Mrs. Oliver Dalton, president, conducted, and Mrs. Laron Andrus read the club collect. The topic of the evening, Trends in Education, was presented pre-sented by Mrs. W. H. Brown. It was noted that the trend today is to get the best education educa-tion possible in the shortest time; that more students are seeking a higher education today and that many new methods and equipment are being offered, including the new' programmed instruction, as a means of aiding education. educa-tion. Mrs. Dalton read a letter of appreciation from the State Hospital for remembrances from the club at Christmas time. She announced the next club meeting Jan. 31. to be at the home of Mrs. E. T. Cran-dall. Cran-dall. A nicely arranged luncheon preceded the program, the hostess being assisted by her daughter, Mrs. Milan Packard. Mrs. Milton Harrison was a special guest. |
