Show Services held for mother of local man Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Saturday afternoon, in the Salem LDS ward chapel, for Mrs. Minnie Smith Hazel, 73, who died in a Provo nursing nurs-ing home Tuesday of a long illness. She was the mother of Don Hazel of Springville and a sister to Mrs. Nettie West, also of this city. Mrs. Smith was born at Salem, March 15, 1889,. a daughter of Francis and Ket-urah Ket-urah Gorley Smith, and had made her home there practically practi-cally all her life. She was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are four sons and four daughters; also 22 grandchildren grand-children and 19 great grandchildren grand-children and the sister in Springville.
