Show Angels Fire - Saturdy night Where there is smoke, there must be fire, thought Mrs. Ella Reynolds as she sat in her home Saturday evening, while the rooms filled fill-ed with smoke. After a brief look-around, she called her son-in-law, J. Y. Bearnson and a neighbor Blaine Wheeler. Wheel-er. Neither could determine the cause of the smoke clouds. After the lights went out in the house, it was decided to call the firemen who found the motor on the furnace fur-nace fan in the basement, completely burned out. Mrs. Reynolds was great-ful great-ful the incident was not worse and said the firemen were no less than "Angels of Mercy," who with the other two men arrived just in time, to prevent what could have been a major fire. |
