I The architect is working on plans and specifications for the new civic center and the city should be able to call for bids by November 1, it was announced an-nounced after the regular city r' council meeting Monday night. Mayor Paul Haymond was in charge of the meeting. Approval was given for the purchase for $4000 of a flexible sewer rodder to be used in the sewer department. One half of the amount is to be paid now and the remainder after July 1, 1964. It was reported at the council meeting that the council had decided against selling city property pro-perty to' Mr. and Mrs. Howard Johnston who had made inquiry concerning land in the area of East Canyon Road. Accounts payable A list of delinquent utility accounts was checked over by the mayor and council at the meeting and it was decided that the accounts must be paid by Thursday noon, September 19, or service is to be disconnected. The council also stated that a $5 reconnection fee must be made on such accounts. |
