Show SpringviOe man advanced in service lines Robert Crowley, son of Mr. and Mr. Willis Crowley, 314 So. 1st West, has been commissioned com-missioned a second lieutenant in the Utah National Guard, following completion of studies in the National Guard Academy. Acad-emy. His brother, Airman 2c John Crowley has completed a 45-weeks course in Aircraft Control and Warning-Radar Repair at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss. Robert was commissioned in graduation ceremonies last weekend at Camp Williams. He has been in the National Guard four years, and has completed six-months basic training at Fort Ord, Calif., and Fort Knox, Ky. He is currently cur-rently enrolled as a junior at the University of Utah. 'John enlisted in the Air Force a year ago. He is now home on leave before reporting report-ing to his new assignment at Klamath Air Force Station in California. Glenn Frandsen spent a week visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Frandsen and other relatives and friends here before be-fore leaving July 4, for Clark Air Base in the Philippine Islands, Is-lands, where he will be stationed sta-tioned as a captain in the Air Force. His wife Evelyn and their five children will visit in Springville and Orem until Capt. Frandsen can establish housing at which time they will go by plane to join him. They expect to be on the islands is-lands at least two years. |
