Show High school seniors receive bid to compete in state art contest winners who will enter the national. The pictures entered in the contest will be exhibited at the Art Tea sponsored by the Springville federated clubs April 14. Contest judges will be announced an-nounced at a later date. Judith Hughes, 17 of West Roy, took state1 honors last year with a pastel. National winners came from Providence, R. I., ' Texas, Illinois and the alternate from Alabama. This will be the ninth year in which the contest has been carried on. Senior class students of Springville, the Art City, have an opportunity to further publicize pub-licize this community as an art center by entering the Hallmark Art Contest, sponsored spon-sored by General Federation of Womens clubs and Hallmark cards. This announcement was made this week by Mrs. Earl Condie UFWC art chairman, who states that the contest is open to all senior students and all entries are to be submitted to her by April 1. The theme, "America Today," To-day," may be interpreted in oils, watercolors, pastels or mixed media.
