Show Senior 'Student of the Week' Since this is nation-wide Future Fu-ture Farmers of America Week, it is probably a busy one for Milton Diamond. As president presi-dent of Springville High School's chapter of FFA, Milt is responsible for the window displays downtown and in the high school trophy case. He says the main purpose of the club is to promote leadership' and Milt surely gets experience exper-ience in his office. He will participate par-ticipate in state-wide competition competi-tion as .chairman of the parliamentary par-liamentary procedure team. He was a member of Springville's winning soil-judging team, and he won a tractor driving contest con-test at the state fair. Milt's interest in fanning carries further than his school activities. His father, Fred J. Diamond, is a full-time farmer, far-mer, and Milt has also begun his "business" with eleven head of beef. He plans a career in agriculture either in business for himself or in a public relations rela-tions office for farmers and government. He has gained practical experience by working work-ing on his dad's farm in the summers, and he plans to get educational experience by attending at-tending CSU in Cedar City next year. Milt is also active in the speech department. He is now preparing a speech for a contest con-test and planning to debate in the student legislative forum on federal aid to education. He likes to read a good book once in a while and manages to keep a strong B plus average. - , .. . ':" ' .. i'' ' . , " A. " Milt Diamond |
