She is an active member of the League Lea-gue of Western Writers, a former for-mer member of the Federated Music club, and is affiliated with the Cowbelles, an Auxiliary Auxil-iary to the Cattlemen's Association. Asso-ciation. Presently, she is a member of the staff of "Classic Design for Living," at Provo and is speaking to many groups of young girls on "The Art of Self." She has been active in PTA and was instrumental in organization or-ganization of the Bel Canto Ladies Chorus in which she served as president. As part of her public service, she sang in years past at numerous social so-cial affairs, funerals and public pub-lic programs. She has served on the Utah Child Guidance Clinic board and headed numerous nu-merous public fund drives. She has assisted in several BYTJ Leadership Weeks giving lessons les-sons and instruction in drama and costuming. Her syllabus on "Costuming for Plays," was used as a text in Leadership Week instruction. She has served ser-ved as YWMIA president, a Sunday School teacher, Relief Society literary leader and in many other church capacities. Among her accomplishments was the organization of the original Little Theater in Springville, now called the Springville Playhouse. For the past ten years, she has given private instruction in reading and drama. Her husband, Oliver H. Dalton, Dal-ton, former member of the City Council, who served as bishop of the Second ward, is prominent in civic affairs and state livestock circles. He is at present Springville Justice of the Peace and a member of the Kolob Stake High Council. Four sons They have four sons: Robert Dalton, a BYTJ graduate, head of Dixie College English Dept. working on his Doctorate. He served an LDS mission to Canada Can-ada and in the armed force. He is married and has four sons. Another son David attended BYTJ two years and served a mission in Germany. He studied stud-ied music in Vienna and later enrolled at the Eastman School of Music at Rochester, N.Y., from which he received his A.A. degre. He is an accomplished accom-plished violinist now studying for his PhD in music at Munich, Mu-nich, Germany. He is married and has a daughter. The third son, Jan, served a mission in New England and will be graduated this year from the BYTJ with a B.A. degree de-gree in political science. Stephen, the youngest son, is a junior at Springville high where he is active in school affairs ' especially agriculture and music. As a homemaker Mrs. Dalton excells in every phase as cook, seamstress, decorator and hostess. She also grows many beautiful flowers which find places in sick-rooms and the homes of friends. Her ready-wit and warm personality, her interest in family, friends, her church and civic affairs have won her many friends and a prominent place in the community. rs. Oliver H.
