Show Sex offenders subject of PTA council meeting A panel discusion on the timely topic "Our Sex Offenders Offend-ers Shall We Heal Them or Conceal Them," will be held Oct. 25 under sponsorship of the Springville-Mapleton PTA Council. Six leading public figures of the county have been secured to participate on the panel. Moderator will be Dr. LaMar Empey, director of the Pine-hills Pine-hills Youth Experiment and nrnfessor at Rrip-ham Yonncr University. Representing the Juvenile- Court will be William Ward, chief probation officer. Leo Crandall, Springville LDS Stake president, will represent rep-resent the churches, while Marvin Mar-vin (Mog) Warren will speak for parents and for the state legislature. J. D. Dalton will represent the Springville police department, and Clark Stewart, Stew-art, high school counselor, the schools. The panel discussion will be held in the junior high school at 8 p.m. Panel members will be introduced by Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Deeben, PTA Council president. The discusion is held under the direction of the council's juvenile protection committee, headed by Mrs. William Wil-liam C. Jones. Opening prayer will be offered by Alden R. Hickman, pastor of the Community Com-munity Presbyterian church. An invitation has been extended ex-tended to all townspeople to attend this meeting.
