Show New Mr., Mrs. Calvin Thorpe making home in Springville The wedding of Miss Patsy Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Warren and Calvin Cal-vin Thorpe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Thorpe was a highlight of nuptial news early this month. The marriage was performed in the Salt Lake Temple and the couple were later honored at a reception in the Third-Ninth ward church. Gowned in a hand-made original ori-ginal design of silk organza over old-fashioned taffetta, the bride wore long gloves and carried a bouquet of red roses. Her dress was trimmed with French imported lace at the neck and at the deep hem of the floor length skirt. Attired in pale blue gowns were the attendants, Marlene Warren, Paula Myres, Linda Crandall, Catherine Tuttle and Mary Lynn Warren. Their flowers were white mums and red carnations. Also in the receiving line were parents of the couple and the best man Robert Thorpe. At the guest book were Carol Blanchard and Kaaren Cook, while guests were greeted greet-ed by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hay-Imond Hay-Imond and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stewart. Ushers were Jerry Warren, Craig Smith, Gary Crandall, Jackie Canto and Lynn Ash. Young Bradley Hay-mond Hay-mond and Julia Johnson distributed dis-tributed 'thank you' scrolls. Acting as hostess in the dining area was Mildred Crandall Cran-dall with Neva Hutchings, Marian Haymond and Diane Smith at the buffet table. Assisting As-sisting with the serving were Susan Christensen, Carolyn Johnson, Melonie Crandall, Christine Crandall and Pat Stewart. In the gift room were: Al-deen Al-deen Palfreyman, LaRue Bear-dall, Bear-dall, Collette Prothero, Janet Jensen, Carma Duncan, Joan Thorpe and Diane Wright, assisted as-sisted by Kent Warren, David Stewart, Craig Stewart and Gale Thorpe as gift bearers. Pale blue spotlights about the hall added a unique touch to the decorative theme enhanced en-hanced by hanging baskets and a pale blue tiered wedding cake with silver trim. The young couple left on a short wedding trip to Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nev., returning to make their home in Springville, while Calvin attends the Brigham Young University.
