Show 1 Camp Locust Grove holds February meet The home of Vida Shepherd was the meeting place for members of Camp Locust Grove for the February meeting. meet-ing. She was assisted by Mabel Ma-bel Jensen, who with Afton Clark were welcomed as new camp members. Vice-captain Rose Nielson was in charge of the meeting program which included the lesson on early city government govern-ment in Salt Lake City presented pre-sented by Barbara Hendrick-sen Hendrick-sen and the history of Catherine Cather-ine Hulett Winget, a pioneer of 1847, given by Afton Clark. Mrs. Clark is a great granddaughter grand-daughter of the pioneer. A letter with New Year greetings from Mrs. Luella Wilson who with her husband, is on a work mission in Hawaii, Ha-waii, was read. The meeting closed with refreshments re-freshments served to fourteen camp members. |
