Show Springville lady celebrates birthday Mrs. J. M. Groesbeck of this city was guest of honor Sunday, Sun-day, at a dinner at Liberty Park in celebration of her birthday. The occasion also marked the birthdays of others of the family: Robbie Webb, a great grandson of Provo; Mrs. Jack Bailey of Springville; Spring-ville; Kay Bennett of Provo and a grandson Harold N. Hales of Portland, Oreg. Harold, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hales of Spanish Fork recently received his LLB degree in law from the University Univer-sity of Portland. After lunch at Liberty Park and a visit to Hogle Zoo, the. group visited Mr. Groesbeck's childhood home in Salt Lake, which he had not been back to in more than 70 years. Guests at the party included, Mr. and Mrs. Groesbeck, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hales of Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. J. Milton Groesbeck and daugh ter Carolyn, Mi-s. Jack Bailey, Springville; Mr. and Mrs. Kay Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard L. Webb and family and Mrs. H. C. Anderson of Provo and Beth Miller, Salt Lake. Mrs. Webb of Provo, a granddaughter made a beautiful beauti-ful birthday cake for the dinner din-ner trimming it with pink birds and blue candles. |
